I do declare today’s word is SOUL
It’s 2023, a brand-new year and it’s hard to believe,
I’m curious to see what I might achieve.
Got my hat on heading for music to fill my SOUL
Ready, set aiming for each positive goal.
I want to be aware of our world and the news,
But what’s occurring sure brings on the blues.
Enough of the disastrous wars … I do declare
In my bubble there’s peace and for all healthcare.
With favorable affirmations I will visualize
Caring and sharing to harmonize.
SOUL power is a force that upholds and maintains
Our universe while experiencing the many labor pains.
Thank goodness there’s music to feed body, spirit, and mind
Bringing melodic sounds to keep the SOUL aligned.
