May we BLAZE the trails

I do declare today’s word is BLAZE

Once upon a time, on the back of a motorcycle, searching for a better way
My sweetheart and I headed out from Tennessee, eager for a hopeful heyday.
We discovered magical Oregon filled with wonder, amidst natural, lush green trees
Our youthful bodies were ready to BLAZE the trails, thankful for the western fresh breeze.
We were on a roll and to our delight landed out in the rustic woodland countryside
Where we were destined to find a caring community while taking new paths in stride.
Meeting like-minded friends for inspirational gardening tips and a-plenty of potlucks
Two precious children to raise during dazzling days … yes indeed, we were lucky ducks.
Memories are precious, and I’m excited to create new ones with friends and next of kin
Sharing and spreading kindness with love as a flame BLAZING and burning within.

I would be remiss not to rhyme my gratitude for here and now in our lovely Oregon home
May y’all enjoy opportunities to BLAZE old and new trails and, of course, HAVE A GOOD ROAM!

Blessings y’all
Peace & love
Queen Scarlett

You brought me such joy by sharing some of your time in Nashville with me, just as the trails we blazed so long ago in our neighborhood are joyful memories we share. Love, always!
