May there be a PLENTY of gratitude

Thanks mom, for the endless threads of love

I do declare today’s word is PLENTY
Today on this unique Thanksgiving with its valued traditions
Due to ongoing, bizarre, unsettling, wearisome conditions.
There will be fewer place settings at the table for fewer relations…
Alas, I have a PLENTY of gratitude while planning food preparations.
I give thanks for the love of family feeding my soul through thick and thin
More gratitude for the sacred elements that sustain us over again.
Gratitude will feed optimism as we all find ways to cope
Striving for patience, strength, perseverance, and hope.
Whether you serve simply or be the culinary gourmet
May there be a PLENTY of gratitude on this holiday!

Blessings y’all
Peace & Love
Queen Scarlett

  1. Oh, those beautiful threads that your Mom has stitched and woven for posterity. I am always amazed!
Yes, strange times, difficult times, out times.
    Time to appreciate.
    Thank You Dear Queenie,

Wising you and your family a wonderful Thanksgiving. I am reminded of the story you and Bruce told me about Thanksgiving at your home when everyone, except your mom, ended up in the garage.

NOT BAD Joan but I’ve always been more of a free verse kind of guy….happy Thanksgiving to you and yours….ct

  4. Thanks Ginger…the old memory bank is rusty & I’ll have to ask Bruce about the Thanksgiving in the garage. Regardless, wishing you & yours a tasty day.
