I do declare today’s word is NATURE.
For the past few weeks, I’ve had a bird’s eye view, and front row seat, to a robin’s nest, right outside our front window. Three hatchlings, nestlings, fledglings. The many comings and goings have been remarkable.
One day a crow flew into the nest, and fortunately I was on bird watch and the scarecrow in me saved the day!
So here it is, the day after Mother’s Day, and with this new morning I watched momma feed her three in their homey roost. I had to leave my post for a few hours, and when I returned, momma and the babies had flown the coop. Another lesson in letting go… those precious birds were GONE WITH THE WIND! I am so grateful for the bird’s eye view.
Being a mama is truly a blessing… Mother NATURE just comes naturally!
May Mother NATURE fill us with wonder
Blessings to y’all,
Peace & Love,
Queen Scarlett
